Perfect for a family escape

I really enjoyed the lovely grounds and spacious room we stayed in. The staff were really good, helping us plan a surprise for our daughter who just received her PhD, and she was thrilled!

Let’s be real, it wasn’t exactly cheap but you get what you pay for.

I had a lovely stay at the JW Marriott Venice. The grounds felt like a tropical paradise with beautiful gardens and a serene atmosphere. My room, the Junior Suite King with Terrace, was spacious and well-decorated. The terrace provided a great spot to relax. Breakfast every morning was delightful, offering a wide variety of options and high-quality food. Staff were friendly and attentive during breakfast, ensuring everything was perfect. I absolutely enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool. the views were stunning, perfect for unwinding. The complimentary shuttle service to St Mark's Square made exploring Venice easy. However, I faced some issues. There were not enough lounge chairs around the pool, making it tough to find a spot to relax. The air conditioning in my room was inconsistent. I had to ask for help several times to get it adjusted properly. Also, the dining options outside the fine dining restaurant lacked diversity and quality. One night, I found the food mediocre at the casual restaurant on-site. Yet, despite these hiccups, the overall experience was quite nice. I'd suggest improvements for the dining options and lounge availability by the pool.

Staying on a private island was magical, especially the complimentary water taxi. The stunning suite with its own pool made our time incredibly relaxing, and the warm welcome for our dogs was a delightful touch!

The whole wheat bread rolls at breakfast were to-die-for, paired with fresh, local jams—pure bliss! Also, the shuttle service is spot on, whisking you to St Mark’s Square every 30 minutes. Plus, the stunning pool area offers a killer view of Venice!

The food in general was not up to par with the hotel’s luxury vibe. a bit more variety would’ve been nice. Also, the hot shuttle boat rides lacked any air conditioning, making for a sweaty commute when the sun blazed down.

Our arrival felt like entering a postcard—tranquil waters, lush gardens. Each morning began with fresh pastries and a peaceful boat ride to St Mark’s.

However, check-in was chaotic, with staff struggling to manage the crowd. Air conditioning issues left us uncomfortably warm in our room at times.

The gardens were absolutely breathtaking, filled with colorful flowers and inviting seating areas. The pathways were easy to navigate, allowing seniors like me to enjoy peaceful strolls amidst the lush greenery. Simply lovely!

The deluxe double room was spacious and impeccably clean! ! Regular cleaning and towel service were on point. The breakfast exceeded expectations, with fresh juices and delightful homemade jams that made each morning special.

This place suits me perfectly with excellent amenities like a rooftop pool, 24-hour reception, and free shuttle service. The staff once found me tasty food for dinner, remembering their helpfulness fondly. Highly recommend checking it out!
